about me

My name is Andrea Tscheschlog and I have been drawing since the first time I held a pencil in my hand. Following my passion for art, I received my BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Figure Drawing from Kutztown University in 2000. I have illustrated nursing books and sell portraits and pencil drawings in art festivals and by commission. I began painting mandalas as a meditative process and through my business Andrea Nicole fine arts & crafts, sell them in studios, art festivals, galleries, and by commission. For the past 15 years I have worked in education: for 9 years as a Pre-K teacher and for the last 6 years as a middle school classroom Teaching Assistant. In the spring of 2019, I began my journey to receive my MFA in Graphic design from Academy of Art University of San Francisco. My love for education and art has manifested into my thesis project OctoEd a middle school specific virtual learning platform. My goal is to help middle school learners learn, engage, connect, and thrive in the virtual learning environment.
